The story of this episode is that Rainbow Dash and her friends help their favourite author, A.K. Yearling, to finish her latest book.
Let me start this review by saying that I couldn't help but feel a slight disappointment with it. Not the episode itself, let me be perfectly clear about that. No, what I was disappointed with was that this episode did not seem to further the story arc concerning the mysterious box introduced in the season opener. With that arc used during last week's episode, I had high hopes that the episodes of this season would follow a consistent season-long story arc, which is something they’ve never done before. I know it's unfair to hold something like that against this episode, as it was something I was hoping for rather than what I got, but the sentiment remains.
The story we do get however, is one that I enjoyed, as it concerns something I'd hoped they'd be touching
Since the day he hatchedIt was late at night, and the room was completely dark, save for a small flickering candle on a desk beside the nearby window. For many pones, such light wouldn't have been enough to do any real reading, but for Twilight, she'd grown used to it. This was not the first late-night study session she'd done, and it wouldn't be the last. Twilight Sparkle, newly-crowned princess of Equestria, had gone through many things in recent weeks, from her unexpected coronation, to a journey to another world, and, more recently, saving Equestria yet again from a great danger. But after all that, after all the hectic goings on and the dangers she'd been though, she found comfort in this simple thing. Just being here, in this tree she had called home for the last few years, here in Ponyville.Elements, no more by ~Thejboy88

Most ponies would expect a princess to be more comfortable in a palace, or overseeing some grand view, but not her. For Twilight, this small and often unused library of the town was more important to her than any palace could be, and she revelled in the silence of it. Well, almost silence anyway. For Twilight was not the only occupant of the tree-house at this time. Looking to her left, the young princess looked upon two
